You can apply to finance the cost of your Flow boiler with a personal loan from our finance partner, Zopa. The finance pays for your boiler upfront, so you don’t have to, and then the package gives you fixed monthly reductions in your energy bill that add up to an incredible total saving of £4,800 over 5 years.
First step: the energy switch
We’ll carry out a free home survey, to see if the Flow boiler is right for you. If it is, then the first thing we’ll do is switch your home energy supply to Flow. We’ll put you on one of the cheapest home energy tariffs in the UK. So just by completing this stage, you’ll save up to £222 a year (compared to what you currently pay for your energy)*.
*your actual saving depends on the current tariff you’re on and how much energy you use
Your loan for the boiler can be taken out over 2-5 years. As an example, a loan of £3,675 over 5 years will cost you £75.50 per month at a representative 8.9% APR (this is a headline rate and your rate may vary depending on personal circumstances).
But here’s the clever bit. Flow will then provide a FIXED reduction in your home energy bill of £80 a month (this is on top of any savings you’ve already made by switching your home energy to Flow).
The total cost of the loan over 5 years, at a representative 8.9% APR, would be:
Monthly Repayment = £75.50
*Cost of financing the Flow boiler only. A loan of £3,675 (£3,500 for the Flow boiler plus 5% VAT) over 5 years will cost you £75.50 a month at a representative 8.9% APR. The total cost after 5 years is £4,529.89, which includes £675 interest at 6.7% fixed and a £180 fee. The total amount of credit is £3,855. This is a representative example and doesn’t include installation.
However, the total fixed reduction in your home energy bill over 5 years will be
Monthly saving £80 a month†
† Plus you'll save up to an extra £434 each year simply by switching your home energy to Flow.
No matter how long or short your loan term, your fixed reduction in your home energy bill of £80 a month will continue for 5 years. After 5 years, your boiler will continue to generate electricity, which will continue to reduce your home energy bill – just no longer by a fixed amount. This electricity could be worth hundreds of pounds a year* for the remaining lifetime of your boiler.
* Depending on how you use your heating system. Includes FiT payments.
Terms & Conditions apply. We will need to survey your property to establish the installation cost. You will need to take gas and electricity supply on Flow Energy’s Generate 1 tariff and nominate Flow Energy as the recipient of the Feed-in Tariff. The rebate will be a reduction to your energy account and therefore give a lower monthly Direct Debit payment; there is no cash alternative. You will be responsible for making finance repayments to Zopa. Offer only available to customers over the age of 21 living in Great Britain.
The obligation to pay the Rebate will immediately cease.
